Definitions and examples

Freeware- Software that is provided without any charge.
Two examples- Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox.
Shareware- Software that is available free of charge; may be distributed for evaluation with a fee requested for additional features or manual etc.
Two examples- Application software, Microsoft Windows.
Open sources- of or relating or being computer software for which the source code if freely available.
Two examples- Facebook, Wikipedia.
Commercial software- is computer software that is produced for sale or that serves commercial purposes.
Two examples- Microsoft windows, Adobe flash windows.
